Liberals lose their minds as border czar Tom Homan unveils ‘cruel’ new mass deportation plan

By STEPHEN M. LEPORE | Daily Mail Liberals have gone into meltdown after Donald Trump's border chief confirmed that illegal immigrant families with children will be held in detention centers. Tom Homan, who will oversee Trump's mass deportation plan, was unsparing in a recent interview with the Washington Post, telling the publication that the onus was on the parents of the children. 'You knew you were in the country illegally and chose to have a child. So you put your family in that position,' Homan said as he defended using detention centers. Major changes coming to Social Security regardless of Trump’s presence

By Emily Hallas | Washington Examiner In the spirit of the season, the  Washington Examiner has identified 12 issues we believe will shape and influence 2025 and beyond. The incoming Trump administration has made the fight against illegal immigration and the use of tariffs its flagship policy items. The U.S. will also possibly undergo a health revolution, while very real questions need to be answered on everything from Social Security reform to the military to the changing landscape of the energy sector. Part 3 is on Social Security. Retirees make up a larger proportion of citizens than ever before after birth rates have sunk to historic lows over the past few years, hitting below the replacement rate that is needed to sustain the United States’s population.  Nearly 73 million peo...

China rapidly builds up weapons and psychological warfare operations

By Chuck DeVore | The Federalist China’s military buildup and cognitive warfare strategy are clear indications of its intent to defeat the U.S. and its allies by any means necessary. The People’s Republic of China (PRC) is undertaking an unprecedented military buildup aimed at challenging America and its allies, particularly in the Indo-Pacific. And, like Nazi Germany’s buildup in the 1930s, the militarization program ordered by the Chinese Communist Party isn’t simply a great power buildup — it’s a weapon in service of a deadly ideology. The 2024 Department of Defense China Military Power Report and recent analysis by Bill Gertz in the Washington Times reveal this buildup as part of a broader strategy by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to position itself as a global superpower....

Democrat lawyers call for congress to block Trump from taking office

By Kristina Wong | Breitbart Two Democrat lawyers called for Congress to block President-elect Donald Trump from taking office in an op-ed published by the Hill on Thursday, prompting disbelief and ridicule from Republicans. In the piece titled “Congress has the power to block Trump from taking office, but lawmakers must act now,” lawyers Evan A. Davis and David M. Schulte argued that the Constitution says an insurrectionist is ineligible to be president and “the evidence of Donald Trump’s engaging in such insurrection is overwhelming.” They argued that the “matter has been decided in three separate forums” — one of which they said was the Rep. Nancy Pelosi-appointed January 6th Committee — which a recent House Republican review into the committee concluded was “designed...

Marianne Williamson, 72, formerly a candidate for President, launches bid to become next DNC chair

By Samantha-Jo Roth | The Washington Examiner Former Democratic presidential candidate and author Marianne Williamson launched a bid to become chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee on Thursday, joining a crowded field of candidates attempting to “make things right” for the party after its election losses last month.  “MAGA is a distinctly 21st century political movement and it will not be defeated by a 20th century tool kit. Data analysis, fundraising, field organizing, and beefed-up technology — while all are important — will not be enough to prepare the way for Democratic victory in 2024 and beyond. That’s why I have decided to run for DNC Chair this year,” Williamson wrote in a post on her Substack on Thursday morning.  Wil...

These three inmates were the only ones on federal death row Biden did not commute

By Melissa Quinn | CBS Colorado President Biden on Monday announced he had commuted the sentences of nearly all federal inmates on death row, with the exception of three who did not receive clemency. There are 37 inmates initially sentenced to death who will be impacted by Mr. Biden's action and will now receive life in prison without the possibility of parole. But the remaining three on death row whose sentences are untouched are: Robert Bowers, convicted for the mass shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue; Dylann Roof, convicted of the shooting at the Mother Emanuel AME Church; and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, convicted for the Boston Marathon bombing. While Mr. Biden campaigned on ending capital punishment and the Justice Department imposed a moratorium on federal executio...

In advance of Trump inauguration, Biden Admin working to make 1,200 DEI hires

By Sarah Holliday  | Daily Signal Within 10 days of President-elect Donald Trump’s landslide victory, 33 DEI-related jobs were posted by the federal government. Now, with barely a month until Trump takes office, The Daily Wire reported that the feds are “currently in the process of hiring as many as 1,200 employees to work on … [diversity, equity, and inclusion]—employees who would be embedded into the permanent federal workforce headed into the Trump administration.” The outlet noted that the posted “jobs have annual salaries of up to $310,000 and could add up to total salary payouts of $160 million a year.” One example was the job listed by the Department of Health and Human Services on Nov. 15. Elon Musk shoots down ‘wrong-headed economic thinking,’ says there’s ‘infinite potential’ for job creation

ByAlex Nitzberg | Fox Business Billionaire business tycoon Elon Musk shot down a scarcity mindset and suggested that there is basically unlimited potential for creating jobs and businesses. "The ‘fixed pie’ fallacy is at the heart of much wrong-headed economic thinking. There is essentially infinite potential for job and company creation. Think of all the things that didn’t exist 20 or 30 years ago!" Musk declared in a post on X. Musk's comment was in response to a post from entrepreneur Joe Lonsdale who had mentioned Sriram Krishnan — who President-elect Trump recently tapped for a role in his upcoming administration. Last month, Krishnan advocated for lifting a cap on green cards when replying to a post of Musk's regarding the Department of Government Efficiency (...
