DHS confirms the Kamala Harris parole program is a national security risk

By The Washington Examiner The catch-and-release migrant programs created by President Joe Biden and endorsed by Vice President Kamala Harris have increased national security risks, according to the independent watchdog that oversees the Department of Homeland Security. The DHS Office of Inspector General released a report last week finding that Customs and Border Protection is releasing noncitizens without identification into the United States, contrary to federal law, in a manner that “inadvertently increases national security risks.” The same report also found that the Transportation Security Administration then lets these same unidentified noncitizens onto airplanes, where they are free to fly wherever they wish in the U.S. According to the report, CBP encountered 2.4 million ...

DeSantis blasts Kamala for Hurricane Milton comments: ‘She has no role in this process’

By Jeff Poor | Breitbart Monday, during an appearance on FNC’s “Hannity,” Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) excoriated Vice President Kamala Harris for injecting herself into his state’s storm preparation as Category 5 Hurricane Milton approaches the Sunshine State. DeSantis was reacting to comments from Harris, who called the Florida governor “selfish” to reporters. “[F]or Kamala Harris, to try to say that my sole focus on the people of Florida is somehow selfish is delusional,” he said. “She has no role in this. In fact she’s been vice president for three-and-a-half years, have dealt with a number of storms under this administration. She has never contributed anything to any of these efforts. So what I think is selfish – trying to blunder into this – know and here’s the thing – she ...

Female Tren de Aragua gang member called ‘The Barbie’ is busted for running brutal sex-trafficking ring

By Jennie Taer | New York Post This Barbie is a sex trafficker. A heavily tattooed female Tren de Aragua gang member is accused of running a sex-trafficking operation out of a border town hotel that the gang took over, according to a leaked Border Patrol memo obtained by The Post. At least one victim alleged that Estefania Primera — a Venezuelan illegal migrant who goes by the street name “La Barbie” — drugged her and brought men in to gang-rape her while she was unconscious, court documents said. Floridians warned Hurricane Milton ready to explode

By Simon Kent | Breitbart Hurricane Milton is closing on Florida’s west coast with landfall expected as a Category 4 hurricane Wednesday night or early Thursday morning as a mass exodus continues. The extreme weather event will arrive as Floridians still work to recover from the devastation unleashed by Hurricane Helene’s impact 12 days ago. AP reports almost the entirety of Florida’s west coast was under a hurricane warning early Tuesday as the storm and its 155 mph winds crept toward the state at nine mph, drawing energy from the Gulf of Mexico’s warm water. In its 1 a.m. CDT Tuesday update, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) placed Milton just north of the Yucatan Peninsula and about 585 miles southwest of Tampa. READ THE FULL STORY AT BREITBART

Supreme Court to weigh legality of 2022 Biden Administration’s ghost guns rule

By Melissa Quinn | CBS Colorado The Supreme Court will convene Tuesday to consider a challenge to the Biden administration's efforts to regulate untraceable firearms known as ghost guns, as major American cities report the measure seems to have caused a reduction in the use of these weapons within their borders. The court fight involves a 2022 regulation from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives that sought to ensure the difficult-to-trace weapons known as ghost guns are subject to the same requirements as commercial firearms sales. The issue before the justices is not whether Second Amendment rights were violated, but rather if the Biden administration went too far when it issued the rule. READ THE FULL STORY AT CBS COLORADO

Grabar: Kamala Harris is poised to revive the worst aspects of FDR’s socialist agenda

By Mary Grabar | The Federalist At the Economic Club of Pittsburgh, Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris recently said she would “engage in what Franklin Roosevelt called ‘bold, persistent experimentation,’” as he had told the 1932 graduating class at Oglethorpe University. But she did not mention FDR’s vision of “remaking the world,” which included fundamentally changing “our popular economic thought” to see to “a wiser, more equitable distribution of the national income.” Instead, she said she would seek “practical solutions” and even declared, “I am a capitalist.” She said she’s “been working with entrepreneurs and business owners” for her “whole career.” (No one has yet even been able to verify Harris’ job at McDonald’s.) She also professed her b...

Wallison: The case for an Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities

By Peter J Wallison | Commentary, peterjwallison.substack.com Most of the discussion about how Israel should respond to the latest Iranian missile attack fails to consider that Iran is not an ordinary aggressor country, driven by a desire to dominate its neighbors or its region. Instead, Iran is a “theocratic republic,” headed by a Shi’ite religious figure, appointed for life, who makes all important governmental decisions. As such, the country cannot be appeased by any Israeli effort to reach an accommodation; Iran’s hostility to the very existence of Israel is fundamental to its current system of government.   This is demonstrated by Iran’s continuing support of Hezbollah’s presence in Lebanon—a hostile army right on Israel’s border—with an estimated 100,000 missi...

Americans seek resolute solution to end cartels

By MIG Reports Public sentiment on cartel-related issues in the United States is negative. As Americans grapple with the rising impact of cartel activities, including drug and human trafficking and gang activity, there is increasing tension between those advocating for a strong executive approach and those who still value traditional governance with checks and balances. This analysis explores American sentiments regarding which form of leadership people see as most effective in addressing the perceived threats. Analysis also looks at how language—particularly the contrast between first-person and third-person usage—reflects the depth of personal investment in the problem and the expectation for leadership to deliver solutions. MIG Reports data shows: 70% of Americans want a st...

‘This will be the last election’ if VP Kamala Harris wins the presidency: Elon Musk

By Tristan Justice | The Federalist Billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk warned Pennsylvania voters Saturday ‘this will be the last election’ if Vice President Kamala Harris wins in November. “I have one ask for everyone in the audience,” Musk said, addressing both the crowd and the cameras that livestreamed the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. “Register to vote, and get everyone you know and everyone you don’t know. Drag them to register to vote.” “There’s only two days left to register in both Georgia and Arizona,” Musk added. “And then make sure they actually do vote. If they don’t, this will be the last election. That’s my prediction.” READ THE FULL STORY AT THE FEDERALIST Click Here

Supreme Court declines Biden administration appeal in Texas emergency abortion case

By Politico via the Associated Press The Supreme Court on Monday let stand a decision barring emergency abortions that violate the law in Texas, which has one of the country’s strictest abortion bans. Without detailing their reasoning, the justices kept in place a lower court order that said hospitals cannot be required to provide pregnancy terminations that would violate Texas law. There were no publicly noted dissents. The Biden administration had asked the justices to throw out the lower court order, arguing that hospitals have to perform abortions in emergency situations under federal law. The administration pointed to the Supreme Court’s action in a similar case from Idaho earlier this year in which the justices narrowly allowed emergency abortions to resume wh...
