‘This was a takeover’: CBZ Management no longer silent on violent TdA activity in Aurora

Jurinsky: 'Police chief leadership and city management lied' By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice A property management company, which has been vilified in Aurora as a slumlord, has begun to speak out through a new social media account. They are providing, in the words of Paul Harvey, the rest of the story. In 2019, CBZ Management was hired to manage Aurora apartment properties by the new owners. The properties were in poor condition and CBZ Management was assigned renovation to increase the rent value, the company's first posting on Oct. 11 reads. "We understood this project would take years to yield results and would be both time-consuming and costly, involving comprehensive upgrades to every unit and the overall structure," the Twitter/X post from @CbzManagement reads. ...

Resolution claims Denver placed illegals in Aurora without notice, would begin investigation

By Kyla Pearce | Denver Gazette A resolution under consideration by the Aurora City Council charges that Denver moved immigrants into Aurora without telling city officials. If approved, the resolution will launch an investigation into the claim. Sponsored by City Councilmember Danielle Jurinsky, the resolution directs the city manager to provide a list of city organizations that have received funding to aid immigrants, including federal and state funding, as well as dollars from the City and County of Denver. Aurora officials will weigh the proposal a few days after former President Donald Trump blasted the Biden administration’s handling of illegal immigration, which he said contributed to the Venezuelan gang problem in Colorado’s third-most populous city. Aurora residents describe how Venezuelan gangs have upended their lives

By Jon Michael Raasch  | Daily Mail Migrant gang activity in Aurora, Colorado, is making residents feel threatened and some are avoiding the town all together because of it, locals told DailyMail.com.  Speaking to a crowd of thousands on Friday in Aurora, Colorado, Donald Trump hammered Joe Biden and Kamala Harris's immigration policies, blaming them for local migrant gang activity. Reports of the Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua (TDA) operating in Aurora went viral in August after a video showed men with rifles and handguns threatening apartment residents before a 25-year-old man was shot and killed.  READ THE FULL STORY AT THE DAILY MAIL

By Ryan King | The New York Post Republican vice presidential hopeful JD Vance went off on ABC News correspondent Martha Raddatz Sunday after she tried to fact-check the senator from Ohio about the presence of Venezuelan migrant gangs in Aurora, Colo. Former President Donald Trump, 78, stumped in the Denver suburb Friday and vented that the Tren de Aragua (TdA) crime syndicate had “overrun” the city. “The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complexes — apartment complexes and the mayor said our dedicated police officers have acted on those concerns,” Raddatz, 71, told Vance on ABC’s “This Week.” READ THE FULL STORY AT THE NEW YORK POST
