Graham: A vote for Trump is a vote to restore freedom and opportunity in America

By Ellen M. Graham | Guest Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice I’m a single suburban soccer mom and I’m voting for Donald J. Trump. Well, my children play baseball and golf, but you get it. Raised staunchly conservative in Northern Colorado, I was liberal for more years than I’d like to admit, but it’s 2024 and I have a full-time job, two teenagers, including one in private school thanks to more failed public schools.  I own a middle-class home in a safe neighborhood.  Launching my sons into opportunity is my American Dream. We can no longer run away from what our country has become.  Just look at the streets of downtown Denver with the needles, feces and encampments.  Oh well, big city problems, they say.  Go to Aurora, long a bastion for legal immigrants an...

Allen & Melanie Fuller: Preserve Colorado charter schools with ‘yes’ vote on Amendment 80

By Allen Fuller and Melanie Fuller | Guest Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice As a husband and wife who both serve on the boards of different charter schools, and as parents of three students currently in K-12 schools in Colorado, we fully support not only Amendment 80, but also the incredible opportunity and personalization school choice creates. Colorado charter schools, which have been a multi-decade success story for children and families, are under constant attack. Amendment 80, on this year’s ballot, is the best long term insurance policy for protecting Colorado’s rich history of innovation in education. Amendment 80 is an essential addition to our state constitution. We strongly support it because we have seen firsthand how children thrive when families can choose public scho...

By Iris Pixler | Colorado Politics In House District 44 for the Colorado General Assembly, Republican Anthony Hartsook looks to continue his work by being elected to a second term, while Democratic opponent Alyssa Nilemo aims to win the newly redrawn district this November. No matter who wins, both candidates face a shifting political landscape in Douglas County and continued rapid growth. At first glance, you might think they have little in common. Still, Hartsook and Nilemo are fighting to represent the new district encompassing Parker, Stonegate, Sierra Ridge, Meridian Village, and Stepping Stone in Douglas County. Harris campaign recruits foreign volunteers, tells noncitizens how to skirt donation rules

By Reddit Lies | The Federalist Part three of an investigation into how the Harris-Walz campaign is manipulating social media sites to artificially boost their popularity, spread election disinformation, and skirt election laws. In the previous installments of this investigation into how the Harris-Walz presidential campaign is dishonestly manipulating online platforms, I noted the existence of a Discord server where campaign employees coordinate with a volunteer army to flood social media sites with campaign propaganda. The volunteers also vote en masse on social media to artificially boost Harris-Walz content or downvote content that is harmful to their campaign. Not only is this deceptive and misleading to voters, it’s a clear violation of these websites’ Terms...

Ballot measure 2C in Wheat Ridge would lower building height limits at old Colorado hospital

By Karen Morfitt | CBS Colorado The old 100 acre campus of a hospital in the Colorado city of Wheat Ridge is empty and on the verge of development. But before that happens, voters are deciding in the general election next week whether or not to change the city's height requirements for that area. Ballot measure 2C asks Wheat Ridge voters to consider making changes to the city's current height requirements at the old Lutheran Hospital campus. "It actually asks two specific things," Community Development Director Lauren Mikulak said. "We're asking to lower the height further on the perimeter, so from 35 feet to 30 where we have new development potentially adjacent to existing neighborhoods. READ THE FULL STORY AT CBS COLORADO

AOC gushes over Doug Emhoff as ideal man brimming with ‘masculinity’

By Simon Kent | Breitbart Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) gushed over Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff on Wednesday night applauding him as the very model of modern masculinity at a campaign event for his wife Kamala Harris. “He’s not afraid to embody and pass on these values of security and this idea that you can, you can let your girl shine,” Ocasio-Cortez told a room full of students at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, according to the Daily Mail. “And he embodies that really well. We should all be really, really proud of him.” She told students the example Emhoff has set “has been incredibly important this presidential cycle.” READ THE FULL STORY AT BREITBART
