Gov. Polis for Harris: She just had hard time thinking of differences from Biden ‘on the spot’

By Ian Hanchett | Breitbart On Friday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Source,” Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D), who is also a Harris-Walz Surrogate, said that 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris “is a totally different person” from President Joe Biden, but she didn’t mention what she would have done differently because “it’s hard to think of things on the spot.” Host Kaitlan Collins asked, “When she was asked the other day if there was anything that she would have done differently from Biden, she said not a thing that would come to mind. Do you think, on immigration, she should have said, yes, that she would have handled things differently had she been president?” Polis responded, “Well, look, this is a totally different person. So, I’m excited by Kamala Ha...

In MAGA rally, Trump pledges national ‘Operation Aurora’ to address illegal aliens

'We need to make a change in November,' Trump says after making case against Kamala Harris on border, economy By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice A population of more than 13 million illegal immigrants who surged across the border during the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris Administration were put on notice Friday by former President Donald Trump: leave or be removed from America upon his election. Trump announced to a MAGA rally crowd gathered at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, if elected, he would reinstitute a version of the Alien and Sedition Act of 1798, which allowed for aliens dangerous to the peace and safety of America or engaged in treasonous acts to be removed by the President, with penalty of incarceration for returning. "We will have an 'Ope...

Chandler: Vote ‘no’ on Arapahoe County ballot issue 1A

By Kathleen Chandler | Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice Our Taxpayer Bill of Rights (TABOR) is under perpetual attack by a government that seeks to grow without the consent of the governed. A major tenant of TABOR is asking our permission to raise our taxes. That is all we ask. Government, make your case. Why do you need more tax revenue? Arapahoe County is deceitful in its de-TABORing measure. According to the law, the measure, when placed into legal publication, must be in ALL CAPS if the government asks to raise your taxes. That is true here. However, the first line states, “WITHOUT INCREASING THE TAX RATE AND WITHOUT ADOPTING ANY NEW TAX,” which is technically true and deceptive in its consequences.  This measure will raise your taxes. The county government is asking t...

Some Dems won’t commit to certifying election results if Trump wins

By Nick Pope | Daily Caller Several senior Democrats in Congress would not commit to certifying the results of the 2024 presidential election if former President Donald Trump wins when asked by Axios. Many House Democrats have slammed House Speaker Mike Johnson for hedging his language about whether the GOP House majority would certify the results of the election if Vice President Kamala Harris wins, but Democrats like Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland are doing the same thing, Axios reported. If Trump “won a free, fair and honest election, then we would obviously accept it,” Raskin told Axios. However, the lawmaker “definitely” will not assume that Trump would win by honest means. Obama scolds black men for not ‘Feeling the idea’ of ‘a woman’ as President

By Wendell Husebø | Breitbart Former President Barack Obama scolded black men Thursday night for not “feeling the idea of having a woman as president.” Obama’s remark suggests any support among black men for former President Donald Trump is based on sexism, a tactic of guilt that may backfire on Vice President Kamala Harris. Obama’s remarks come during a nationwide campaign tour for Harris, who is down about eight points among black voters from President Joe Biden’s support in 2020, according to Pew Research. Among black men, only 80 percent support Harris, a Washington Post/Ipsos poll recently found, while a NAACP poll found one in four under the age of 50 showed support for Trump. A view from both sides of the 29 Road Interchange ballot measure in Mesa County

By Jen Schumann | Contributor, Rocky Mountain Voice For decades, Mesa County folks have been dreaming of a common sense road fix to link 29 Road straight to Interstate 70. That connection is almost a reality. The Mesa County Board of County Commissioners gave the green light to a ballot measure, inching the area closer to smoother drives and less gridlock. As traffic congestion worsens, proponents argue for the interchange. They say it is vital for regional connectivity and to manage future traffic. The population is set to grow by 20-25% in 20 years, and acting now will prevent traffic jams. Grand Junction City Councilman Cody Kennedy and Mesa County Commissioner Cody Davis have been leaders in pushing for the project. At a recent Mesa County Republican Women's luncheon, both ...

Trump, Harris locked in dead heat in 7 battleground states, poll finds: ‘Could not be closer’

By Greg Norman | Fox News A new Wall Street Journal poll has found little separation between former President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris in seven battleground states, prompting a Democratic pollster to say that the 2024 election "really could not be closer."  The survey of 600 registered voters in each of the states, which was conducted Sept. 28-Oct. 8 with a margin of error of +/-4 percentage points, found that in a head-to-head contest, Trump and Harris are tied in North Carolina and Wisconsin.  Harris leads Trump 48%-46% in Arizona and Georgia, and 49%-47% in Michigan, according to the poll. In Nevada, Trump has his biggest swing state lead of 49%-43%, while he leads Harris in Pennsylvania 47%-46%, the poll also found.  READ THE...

Kamala Harris doubles down on facilitating Biden’s border invasion if elected

By Shawn Fleetwood | The Federalist During a Univision town hall on Thursday, Vice President Kamala Harris doubled down on furthering the ongoing invasion at the U.S. southern border if elected president this November. The moment came when a prospective voter questioned Harris about what she would do to support noncitizens who have resided in the United States “for years.” The Democrat nominee bragged about how “the first” piece of legislation the Biden-Harris administration sent to Congress was a bill that, among many things, sought to provide amnesty to illegal immigrants within the country. Referred to by the White House as the U.S. Citizenship Act, the measure specifically would have allowed foreign nationals residing in the United States prior to Jan. 1, 2021, “to apply for t...
