GOP poised to flip vulnerable Dem’s seat after judge greenlit ballot access for imprisoned candidate

By Tori Mason | Daily Caller Incumbent Democratic Rep. Mary Peltola of Alaska is at risk of losing reelection after a state judge allowed Democratic candidate Eric Hafner on the ballot to compete for her seat in November. Peltola was originally up against Republican candidates Nick Begich and Nancy Dahlstrom after Alaska held its ranked-choice primary in August. Hafner, who has never lived in Alaska, originally finished in sixth place in the state’s primary with less than 500 votes but was bumped up to third place after Republicans Dahlstrom and Matthew Salisbury dropped out of the race. Tulsi Gabbard, who prepped Trump for debate, ‘dissected’ Harris in 2019 Dem primary debate

By Hanna Panreck | Fox News Tulsi Gabbard revealed on Monday how she went about calling out Vice President Kamala Harris on the debate stage during the Democratic primaries in 2019 during an appearance on "Jesse Watters Primetime."  "She was treated with kid gloves by the mainstream propaganda media. She was treated with kid gloves, even by every other candidate that was on that debate stage. No one questioned her, challenged her, or called her out for the record as prosecutor that she claimed to be proud of," Gabbard said.  The former congresswoman called out Harris in a 2019 primary debate where she hammered the then-Democratic senator for jailing hundreds of Californians for marijuana violations while she was attorney general, yet bragged about her own use of the drug...

Control of U.S. House likely to come down to 24 races, one of which is in Colorado

By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice Control of the U.S. House of Representatives will most likely come down to an estimated 24 toss up seats in November, according to the Cook Political Report ratings. Only one of those seats is in Colorado: the battleground 8th District pitting incumbent Democrat Yadira Caraveo against Republican Gabe Evans. Last week, Evans collected the support of the Libertarian who was in the race, which could mean a 2-3% swing in the outcome. The race was rated "even" prior to the announcement by the Cook Political Report. If Evans can win the seat, it would provide Republicans with a "plus-one" in the U.S. House. It would also likely give Republicans a split of Colorado's congressional delegation. In order to control the U.S. House, a party must hold at ...

Kamala Harris’ Platform Declares War On The Supreme Court

By Brianna Lyman | The Federalist Kamala Harris has finally released an “issues” page on her campaign website seven weeks after she became the presumptive Democrat nominee — and part of her platform includes waging a war on the Supreme Court. On July 1 the Supreme Court ruled in a 6-3 decision that a president has “absolute immunity” for “actions within his conclusive and preclusive constitutional authority,” “at least presumptive immunity” for all “official acts,” and “no immunity for unofficial acts.” The decision severely impeded the Biden-Harris administration’s lawfare efforts against former President Donald Trump. “[Harris] will also support common-sense Supreme Court reforms — like requiring Justices to comply with ethics rules that other federal judges are bound by and imp...

The Harris honeymoon is over: new poll delivers warning signals to the Vice President

By Drake Hunter | The Hill A string of recent polls is delivering warning signs for Vice President Harris ahead of Tuesday evening’s critical presidential debate.  A New York Times/Siena College poll released Sunday showed former President Trump holding a 1-point lead nationally, suggesting the Harris honeymoon as the Democratic nominee could be coming to a close. It showed tight races in the seven battleground states, signaling the race for the White House could go in either direction. It also showed that while 90 percent of voters said they knew everything they need to know about Trump, a smaller 71 percent said they know everything they need to know about Harris. Kamala Harris’ new climate director said she is hesitant to have children because of climate change threats

By Aubrie Spady | Fox News Vice President Kamala Harris' 2024 campaign hired a new climate director who has frequently said the effects of climate change are part of what's stopping her from having children. Camila Thorndike, who previously worked in the Senate managing the climate portfolio of Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., was given the title of climate engagement director for the Harris for President campaign in September 2024, according to her LinkedIn page.  Prior to joining the Harris campaign, Thorndike said on several occasions that she considers climate change a factor when deciding whether to have kids. Trump expected to use Harris’s own record against her at debate

By Drake Hunter | Washington Examiner Former President Donald Trump is poised to combine his recent attacks against Vice President Kamala Harris‘s policies and personality when they meet during their first and potentially only debate before November’s election. During a Monday phone call with reporters, the Trump campaign previewed the former president’s desire to go after Harris for being part of President Joe Biden‘s administration, for example, for being “the last person in the room” before his deadly 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal. The campaign also foreshadowed criticism of her when she was San Francisco‘s district attorney and California‘s attorney general, as well as the policy positions she adopted during her 2020 bid, which she and her 2024 aide...
